Our Beliefs
We believe...
-
In the Trinity— The Father, The Son (Jesus Christ), and The Holy Ghost—three persons in one divine essence.
-
That the Holy Spirit and the Word of God serve as two witnesses and guiding lights for every Christian.
-
That Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, born of a virgin, and the Savior of the world.
-
That through the power of Christ, we can live victorious, sin-free lives.
-
That Christ died for all mankind, rose again on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of God the Father.
-
That all men are sinners in need of salvation through Jesus Christ.
-
That salvation is attained solely through being born again—repenting of sins and being regenerated by the Holy Spirit—making one a member of the body of Christ.
-
That the ordinances of water baptism by immersion, the Lord’s Supper, and feet washing are vital expressions of faith and obedience.
-
That all Scripture is inspired by God and serves as the ultimate authority for all spiritual doctrine.
-
That most of the prophecies in the Book of Revelation have already been fulfilled.
-
That the pastor is called to be a “watchman on the wall,” dedicated to the spiritual growth and maturity of the saints.
-
The unity and fellowship of God's people are essential to His Church.
-
That the work of God—both locally and globally—is supported through tithes and free-will offerings from His people.
-
That a pastor and congregation must be visibly working in the community in which God has placed it.
-
That Christ will return visibly, the dead will be resurrected, and all mankind will face final judgment.
